Victor Tison
Atelier Tison
Atelier Tison founded by Victor Tison an art metalworker stands out for a radically contemporary yet deeply craft-based practice at the crossroads of furniture sculpture and design.
With a precise and controlled technical mastery the studio shapes raw brass into true works of art that captivate through their light movement and refinement.
A path forged in craft precision:
The pursuit of brilliance
Victor Tison has over ten years of experience spanning industry, fine metalworking, and artisanal automotive bodywork, enabling him to develop a unique expertise in sheet metal forming.
Today, he translates these skills into the creation of sculptural furniture in mirror-polished brass. This material, both noble and expressive, becomes under his hands a sensory medium, where the environment is reflected and matter comes alive.
In his workshop, Victor shapes tubes and metal sheets entirely by hand, forming, hammering, bending, and polishing them meticulously until achieving a non-lacquered mirror finish.
The result is a series of organic forms, inspired by fluidity, where shadows and reflections engage in constant dialogue with the surrounding space.
“By transposing the methods of metal forming into furniture and sculpture, I seek not only to preserve this traditional craft, but also to give it a new life—one that feels relevant to our time.”
Today, Victor Tison wishes to continue anchoring his work within the realm of contemporary design. Through his new research around formed tubing, it becomes possible to create larger-scale pieces, offering him the opportunity to integrate spaces from floor to ceiling.
